The La Plata Casita is one of the more distinctly Southwestern spaces at Hotel Casa Blanca, anchored by a corner kiva fireplace in the living room, a rounded, traditional adobe-style hearth you won’t find in a standard hotel room. A pull-out queen sofa sleeper shares the space, and French doors open onto a private outdoor seating area for morning coffee or an evening wind-down.
The private bedroom has its own king bed and TV, giving the casita real separation between sleeping and living space, useful for families or two couples traveling together. The bathroom continues the same detail found throughout the inn, with classic travertine tile, a hand-painted sink imported from Mexico, and a tub-and-shower combo with a jetted tub.
This casita features a small but well-appointed kitchen, with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave, which makes the casita easy to settle into for a weekend or a longer stay.
Sleeps up to four guests.
"This is far from your typical hotel. It looks like a very wealthy persons house. We stayed accross the street in what looks like a house. It had two large rooms with three fireplaces. Breakfast was excellent! They made dinner for us and that was also excellent!!"
